New COVID Deaths Reported Over Weekend

No new COVID-19 deaths were reported in southwest Indiana Monday after two were recorded over the weekend. 

The Indiana State Department of Health announced 14 new deaths in its Monday report, raising the statewide total to 2,135.

The number of confirmed new cases was less than 250.

State officials reported Vanderburgh County’s 4th fatality on Saturday.

The county also surpassed 300 confirmed cases.

The Dubois County Health Department reported its 4th COVID 19-related death on Sunday.

In western Kentucky, the Green River District reported a 7th COVID 19-releated death in Daviess County.

The number of positive cases in that county reached 339.

The Green River District reported no new cases in its seven-county region on Monday.
