EVPL Reopens with Curb Service

File

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library is now offering curbside pickup.

In a release, the library system says EVPL to Go is available at all eight library locations.

The service eliminates unnecessary contact to ensure the safety of the staff and library patrons during the ongoing pandemic.

The EVPL says residents can place materials on hold at evpl.org, on the EVPL app, or by phone.

Select your preferred pickup location and when the materials are ready, drive to the library, park in the designated parking spot, and an EVPL staff member will bring out the materials on a sanitized table.

You’ll have to confirm your cardholder and vehicle information.

Once the staff member has stepped away, you can exit your vehicle and collect the items.

As always, borrowed materials can be returned to exterior drop boxes at any EVPL location.

More information on the service is available at evpl.org.
