Name changes are coming to hospitals in Henderson and Morganfield.
Methodist Health will officially join Deaconess Health System next month, and facilities will be renamed.
The two Methodist hospitals will become Deaconess Henderson Hospital and Deaconess Union County Hospital.
The changes follow an ownership change in February.
Methodist Health CEO Linda White said in a release the name changes reflect a “new culture and a new relationship” with patients, health care providers, and employees, as well as a “renewed emphasis on quality care, and a new way to relate” to their communities.
Outpatient facilities will also be renamed.
New signs are expected to be erected in July.
