Evansville’s Civic Center will begin to reopen next week.
The city says employees will return to work at the Civic Center starting Tuesday.
The center is not scheduled to open to the public until June 15th but residents will be allowed into the building beginning Tuesday for early voting in the June 2nd primary.
The voting will take place on the first floor.
In a release, the city said employees will notice a number of changes due to the pandemic, including acrylic sneeze guards in areas dealing directly with the public.
The Building Authority has installed more hand sanitizing stations and social distancing reminders.
And administrative employees will be provided face masks and a personal supply of hand sanitizer.
