Early voting is available at five locations next week.

Wednesday, the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library announced that early voting will be available at five library locations next week. They are, Central, McCullough, North Park, Oaklyn and Red Bank libraries.

In a release, library officials said voting will take place from noon to 6pm next Tuesday through Thursday, and noon to 5pm Friday. While voters can access the branches during those times to vote in the Indiana primary, they remain closed to the public for other services.

EVPL and the Vanderburgh County Election Office encourage voters to practice proper social distancing and wear cloth face coverings at all times while at the polling places

The EVPL branches are not voting locations on election day, which is June 2nd. The primary was originally scheduled for May 5th, but was delayed due to pandemic forced shutdowns.
