Dubois County Has Spike in COVID-19 cases

IN.GOV

Weekend reports show 41 new positive cases.

Over the weekend, the Dubois County Health Department reported a total of 41 new positive coronavirus tests, bringing the county’s total to 118.

In a release, county health officer Ted Waflart said that they’re seeing more positive cases as they increase testing, but also that further spread of COVID-19 is evident throughout Dubois County.

14 News reported last week that a number of employees at Farbest Foods in Huntingburg tested positive for the virus, and that the business would be closed Monday and Tuesday.

The health department news release also said that Indiana health officials will begin contact tracing of positive cases in all Indiana counties through the Maximus Contact Tracing Call Center.
