The COVID 19 death toll in Hopkins County, Kentucky has reached 27.
Hopkins officials reported one new coronavirus-related death during their daily online conference Wednesday.
Officials also reported the number of confirmed cases rose one to 216.
They said 140 people had recovered in the hard-hit county.
Across Indiana, the death toll rose 38 to 1482.
The number of new cases was down slightly, to just over 400.
The state adjusted Vanderburgh County’s cases down one to 194.
The county’s death toll held at two.
