Another COVID-19 death has been reported from the Village at Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh.
Warrick County Coroner Sarah Seaton said the seventh victim from the nursing home was a 92-year-old woman who died Monday night.
12 residents of another Newburgh home, Signature Healthcare, also died from COVID-19 complications.
Seaton said the county-wide death toll rose to 23.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported another 33 deaths on its online dashboard today (Tuesday), raising the statewide toll to 1444.
No new deaths were reported in Vanderburgh County, but the number of confirmed cases rose to 195.
The number of cases counted in Posey County was up to 16. Gibson County’s confirmed cases reached 8.
