A third COVID-19 death has been reported in Henderson County.
The Green River District Health Department reported the third death on its Facebook page Monday.
The district also reported six new confirmed cases in its seven-county region, three in Daviess County and three in Ohio County.
Meantime, the COVID-19 death toll in hard-hit Hopkins County has reached 26.
Hopkins officials also announced on its Facebook page that the county’s total of confirmed cases is up to 215, with 61 of them considered “active.”
The number of confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County is approaching 200.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported the county’s total was up to 189, with the number of deaths holding at two.
Twenty deaths have been reported in Warrick County, many of them at nursing and assisted-living homes.
Indiana’s statewide death toll rose by 32 to 1411.
