Indiana’s COVID-19 death toll has topped 1300, while more cases are reported in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.
The Indiana State Department of Health says the number of confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County has reached 175, with two deaths.
Authorities said the latest local death was a 53-year-old man.
Warrick County’s confirmed case count is up to 119. The county has recorded 19 deaths, all but two at nursing homes.
The state of Indiana reported 31 new deaths on Friday, raising the statewide toll to 1,328.
The state reported 675 new cases, raising that total above 23,000.
Nearly 5400 new tests were recorded, pushing the statewide total beyond 130,000.
