A group that usually helps teachers is now helping students with their at-home learning.
For the second time this month, the Teacher Locker will offer free school supplies for EVSC students to help complete their virtual learning lessons.
In a release, the group says it will offer packets containing notebooks, pencils, and a pencil sharpener.
Students in kindergarten and 1st grade will also receive crayons.
The grab-and-go event is Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Glenwood Leadership Academy at 901 Sweetser Avenue.
Families are asked to stay in their vehicles and send one person up for the supplies to maintain social distancing.
EVSC students – like many across the U.S. -- are finishing the school year at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
