State Reports 4th COVID-Related Death in Warrick County

A fourth COVID-19 death is reported in Warrick County, while the number of confirmed cases topped 70 in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported Warrick County’s fourth death Thursday, while the number of coronavirus cases in the county rose to 51.

The state agency reported 71 confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County – up seven from Wednesday.

One death was recorded in the county earlier this month.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases held steady at 6 in Posey and 4 in Gibson County.

No deaths have been reported in either county.

Statewide, the death toll climbed by 41 to 477.

More than 600 new cases were reported while the number of confirmed cases topped 9,500.

The department said more than 51,000 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Indiana.
