Eight people have been infected with COVID-19 at a Newburgh nursing home.
On its Facebook page, the Warrick County Health Department said eight people tested positive for the coronavirus at Signature Healthcare.
The agency said Signature is currently under all COVID-19 protocol, per state health department and Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
No coronavirus-related deaths have been reported at the Newburgh facility.
Elderly people are considered more at-risk of dying of COVID-19.
Indiana State Health Commissioner Kristina Box said Monday that eleven residents died of the virus at a single nursing home in Anderson.
