COVID 19 Cases Holding at 17 in Vanderburgh Co.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Vanderburgh County is holding at 17. 

The Indiana State Department of Health also reported Monday morning that Warrick County had 8 confirmed cases, Gibson County had 4, and Posey County had 3.

Statewide, the number of confirmed cases is approaching 1,800.

The state’s death toll is up to 35.

The agency said more than 11,600 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Indiana.

The state of Kentucky says the number of confirmed cases in Daviess and Webster counties are both in double digits.

And the state of Illinois still reported no confirmed cased in the southeast part of the state as of Sunday.

A second coronavirus-related death has been reported in Hopkins County, Kentucky.

Health Department Director Denise Beach announced the death during a briefing in Madisonville Monday.

She described the victim as an adult with other chronic illnesses.
