With social distancing mandated and concert venues closed, musical groups are trying to figure out how to continue to reach their audiences.

The Evansville Philharmonic’s Eykamp String Quartet has taken to Instagram, You Tube and other social media to play a series of concerts, adding their voices to the national movement known by the hash tag #songs of comfort. WNIN’s Steve Burger talked with the group over Zoom about the concerts.
WNIN will also broadcast the Eykamp String Quartet "Songs of Comfort" mini-concerts every Wednesday during All Things Considered until the pandemic is over. Tune in at 5:50pm central time Wednesday for the first performance.
