Toyota is extending its production stoppage again.
On its website, the automaker says it will extend the suspension at its North American plants – including the Gibson County facility – through April 17th.
Toyota says production will resume April 20th.
The company blamed the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and a significant decline in vehicle demand.
Toyota service parts depots and vehicle logistics centers will continue to operate.
At least one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus at the Gibson County plant.
