Evansville and Vanderburgh County have extended the local coronavirus emergency declaration until April 6th.
Officials say Gov. Eric Holcomb's stay home order will be adhered to in the city and county.
In the declaration, non-essential businesses are ordered to close, including barbershops and hair salons, nail salons, massage parlors, tattoo parlors, and enclosed shopping malls.
There are some exceptions within malls, including restaurants with carryout service and other "critical infrastructure workers" within malls, as defined under federal law.
Evansville’s Civic Center remains closed to all but essential personnel.
A number of city and county services are available online.
