Vincennes Man Arrested Following Fatal Crash

ISP

A Vincennes man has turned himself in following a crash that claimed two lives in June.

27-year-old Joshua Roark is accused of causing the June 12th crash that killed John and Rita Buck of Freelandville.

Indiana State Police said Roark was driving southbound on State Road 159 in Knox County when he drove left of center and collided head-on into a Jeep occupied by the Bucks.

They died at the scene. Roark was flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

The ISP said tests showed Roark was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of the crash.

Roark turned himself in at the Knox County Jail, where he posted bond and was later released.

He faces two counts of Causing Death while Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

That’s a Level 4 felony.
