Toyota Announces New TMMI President

TMMI

Toyota has chosen a new president for its Gibson County operation.

In a news release, Toyota says the company has appointed Leah Curry as president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana.

The announcement follows the decision by current president Millie Marshall to retire on November 1st, after more than 28 years with Toyota.

Marshall was the first female plant president in the history of Toyota.

Curry comes to Princeton after serving as president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia.

The company says Curry has more than 22 years of experience and has held several manufacturing positions.

As president of TMMI, Curry will be responsible for all production and administrative functions at the Gibson County plant, which produces the Toyota Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Sienna, and Sequoia.

The plant employs about 5,500 workers.
