You have an opportunity to suggest changes to a busy Henderson intersection.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking public input on plans to improve safety and traffic flow at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Watson Lane.
A public meeting is scheduled for Monday evening, from 5-7 p.m., at Bend Gate Elementary School.
In a news release, the transportation cabinet says proposed improvements include widening lanes, as well as adding curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
District 2 Chief Engineer Deneatra Henderson urges anyone who travels through the busy intersection to attend the meeting and provide feedback.
Both written and oral comments will be accepted.
Henderson says on average, more than 40,000 vehicles travel through the intersection each day.
