Crews have closed Riverside Drive in Downtown Evansville for this weekend’s ShrinersFest.
The detour is Second Street, which itself has lane restrictions for work on the Post House apartment complex and a new Hyatt Place hotel.
The festival gets underway Thursday, with food vendors, carnival rides, music, a beer garden, and a formation flyover above the riverfront.
An admission fee will be charged, starting Friday afternoon at 1:00.
Buttons are $10 before Thursday and $15 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
Buttons can be purchased at a number of area businesses and online at shrinersfest.com
This year’s air show features a wide variety of aircraft, parachute teams, and D-Day re-enactments involving LST 325.
