A long-time Evansville employer is planning to expand.
Mayor Lloyd Winnecke tweeted Monday that Atlas World Group will move its international relocation services from Seattle to Evansville while separately forming a new leasing company, AWG Equipment Leasing.
The company plans to add up to 75 jobs in Evansville by the end of 2023.
Winnecke says Atlas will invest more than $1.1 million in relocation, software, and equipment purchases for its 65,000-square-foot headquarters at Highway 41 and St. George Road.
Atlas currently employs 389 workers in Evansville, and is looking to hire positions in administrative support and professional services.
