Old National CEO Retiring In May

SEC

The CEO of Old National Bank is retiring.

The Evansville-based bank has announced that Bob Jones will retire in May, after 14 years with Old National.

In a news release, ONB says Chief Financial Officer Jim Ryan, who has been with Old National since 2000, will succeed Jones.

The 61-year-old Jones will continue to serve as Old National's chairman of the board through January 2020.

In the release, the Cleveland native said he has “drawn energy and excitement” from the organization, and the “tremendous people” he’s worked alongside.

Jones said it’s been a privilege to lead the company, and he says the future of Old National is “incredibly bright.”

Jones successor, Ryan, spearheaded Old National's acquisition of St. Joseph Capital in the northern Indiana/Michigan region.

Ryan also chairs the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana and is secretary and treasurer of the Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority.
