The Lilly Endowment is recognizing the work of a Posey County high school student and an Evansville-based early learning center.
The Posey County Community Foundation has announced that North Posey High School Senior Logan Bryant is the recipient of the 2019 Posey County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
The scholarship provides full-tuition, required fees, and an annual stipend of up to $900 for books and equipment for four years of full-time undergraduate study leading to a bachelor’s degree.
Logan plans to study computer engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Meantime, the Easter Seals Early Learning Center in Evansville is a top prize-winner in a state competition focusing on family engagement to benefit young children.
Representatives from Early Learning Indiana presented a $10,000 check Monday to the learning center on S. Cullen Avenue.
Early Learning Indiana is funded through a grant from the Lilly Endowment.
