The company that plans to merge with Vectren has named an executive team to lead the combined firm.
CenterPoint Energy says its current President and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Prochazka, will serve in the same role for the combined company, which will retain the CenterPoint name, headquartered in Houston.
In a news release, CenterPoint says its executive vice president and president of its electric division, Tracy Bridge, will lead the utility business.
Lynnae Wilson, who is currently Vectren's vice president of energy delivery, will lead the company's Indiana electric utility business.
She’s the only Vectren executive named in the news release.
Wilson’s responsibilities will include power generation and construction, distribution and electric engineering, and other areas.
She’ll be based in Evansville.
Current CenterPoint senior vice president Scott Doyle will head up the company's natural gas utility business in Evansville.
CenterPoint and Vectren will continue to operate as separate companies until the transaction closes. That’s expected in the first quarter of 2019.
