The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility department is providing tips for residents during for the upcoming winter weather.
The department recommended disconnecting, draining and storing gardening hoses, Draining pools and sprinklers, installing extra insulation in exterior walls with pipes, opening cabinets to allow warm air to circulate around plumbing, using foam pipe insulation, setting the thermostat to same temperature day and night and keeping garage doors closed.
