Alberto brings rain to Tri-State

The remnants of sub-tropical storm Alberto are expected to drench the Tri-State. 

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for western Kentucky and southwest Indiana.

It’s in effect until 7:00 Wednesday morning.

Forecasters are predicting rainfall amounts of an inch-and-a-half to about three inches.

They say isolated higher amounts are likely.

The weather service already recorded nine-tenths of an inch at Evansville Wednesday morning.

Forecasters urge you to be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Alberto made landfall on the Florida Panhandle Monday afternoon and has drenched much of the Southeastern U.S.
