Republican District 64 Representative Tom Washburne announced Monday that he is not seeking a fourth term in the Indiana House.
In a release, Washburne said that he and his wife decided before he won reelection in 2016 that the term would be his last. He cited family and work considerations for the decision. He has served as Corporate Counsel at Old National Bancorp since 2007.
Rep. Washburne was first elected in 2012 and then again in 2014 and 2016. He has served as Chair of the House Courts and Criminal Code Committee since 2014.
Indiana House District 64 comprises all of Gibson County and portions of Vanderburgh, Posey, Knox and Pike Counties in SW Indiana.
