Police are asking for the public’s help following an armed robbery on Evansville’s Southeast Side.
The Family Dollar store at 1320 Vann Avenue was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
A news release from the EPD says a young, thin, African-American man entered the store at about 8:30 p.m.
He was dressed in all black and his face and head were covered.
Police say he displayed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money and cigarettes.
The robber then left the scene on foot. Nobody was injured.
