Tropicana revenue up; bucks statewide trend

Revenue at Tropicana Evansville was up in June.

The Indiana Gaming Commission says just five of the state’s 13 gaming operations reported an increase in revenue last month, including Tropicana.

 

 

 

 

Wagering at the Evansville casino topped $10 million in June, up about a half-million from June 2015.

The French Lick casino also saw a strong increase, up more than $700,000 to $6.8 million.

Statewide, revenue at Indiana casinos dropped in June from $175 million last year to $170 million last month.

Horseshoe Hammond Casino saw the biggest dip in the state for the second straight month, dropping $3.6 million to $28.9 million.
