Authorities in southern Illinois have identified the woman who died after falling at Garden of the Gods wilderness area.
37-year-old Melissa Riley of Owensboro was pronounced dead at the scene, after falling about 100 feet near the Table Rock formation.
Authorities do not suspect foul play.
Garden of the Gods is a popular spot for hiking and rock climbing, about 12 miles southeast of Harrisburg.
Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown reminds visitors to wear appropriate shoes and clothing, and bring along plenty of water and a fully charged cellphone.
