The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is out with its annual rankings of the Best Places to Work in Indiana, and three local companies made the lists.
The Chamber ranks workplaces in four categories: Small, Medium, Large, and Major.
In the large category, Traylor Brothers was ranked second in the state; in the medium category, Heritage Petroleum was ranked 16th; and in the small category, United Leasing came in 34th in the state.
No major companies from Evansville – ones with at least one-thousand employees -- made the list.
The Chamber says its Best Places honorees are determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys conducted by The Best Companies Group.
