Passenger killed in Warrick Crash

One person is dead and another is injured following a crash in Warrick County.

A news release from the sheriff’s office says it happened at about 8:20 Thursday night on Leslie Road near Folsomville Road.

Authorities say 47-year-old Tim Hale was driving eastbound on Leslie when his vehicle swerved out of control, rolled over, and hit a utility pole.

A passenger in Hale’s vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Hale was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville with non-life threatening injuries.

Sheriff Brett Kruse says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash and deputies continue to investigate.
