Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders addressed an enthusiastic crowd in Downtown Evansville.
Sanders told supporters at the Old National Events Plaza that his campaign doesn’t have a Super PAC, so he can enter the White House without ties to special interests.
Sanders also called for a “moral economy” including a $15 minimum wage, equal pay for women, and three months of family and medical leave.
And he told the crowd that polls show him easily beating Donald Trump in a general election.
Sanders faces Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's Democratic Indiana Primary.
Trump and Ted Cruz are battling on the Republican ballot. John Kasich agreed with Cruz not to actively campaign in the Hoosier state.
