Angel Mounds is inviting you to see a collection of ancient relics this weekend.
“The Wonders of Ancient Indiana” will be on display Saturday evening at the state historic site off Pollack Avenue.
Site Director Mike Linderman tells WNIN that the exhibit includes intriguing and seldom-seen pieces.
Linderman says some of the artifacts are more than 2,000 years old.
He says Angel Mounds is about 1,000 years old and remains mysterious.
Admission to Saturday’s “Ancient Indiana” exhibit is $20. The money goes to the Friends of Angel Mounds for educational programs and future archaeology.
