The Redevelopment Commission accepted a $13.5 million bid from Ragle (RAY-gull) Construction in December for the North Main project.

It would be paid for by Tax Increment Financing in the Jacobsville neighborhood.

The planned upgrade includes streetscape improvements and a protected bicycle lane between the Lloyd Expressway and Garvin Park.
