A Henderson County elementary school principal has been arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at her husband and pulling the trigger.
Investigators say the gun didn’t fire because the safety was on.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says 47-year-old Buffy House was taken into custody after the incident early Monday at her home on U.S. 60-East.
A report from the sheriff’s office indicates House denies the incident took place.
House is principal at Cairo Elementary School, where she’s been placed on administrative leave.
She faces a preliminary charge of wanton endangerment.
