Thousands of vintage hot rods are rolling into Evansville for the Frog Follies.
The E’ville Iron Street Rod Club expects 4,000 cars at this year’s event.
Organizers call it the largest pre-1949 car show in the world, while local officials call it the biggest tourism event of the year, with 10,000 car owners and their families filling up hotels and restaurants.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau says the show will have an economic impact of more than $3.1 million in the Evansville area.
The colorful classic cars will be on display Friday through Sunday at the Vanderburgh 4-H Fair Grounds.
Admission is $5 per person and kids under 12 are admitted free.
The event raises money for local charities.
