St. Mary's to build outpatient complex on West Side

St. Mary’s Health has announced plans for a $10 million medical complex on Evansville’s West Side.

Executive Vice President Gwen Sandefur says ground will be broken July 29 for St. Mary’s Westside Crossing at the Lloyd and Rosenberger.

She says the two-story 27,000 square-foot complex will be similar to St. Mary’s Epworth Crossing on the East Side, providing urgent care, imaging services, lab work, drug screenings, physician practices, and even a bistro and some retail.

Sandefur says the new facility is part of a continuing effort to provide outpatient care for residents who don’t live near St. Mary’s hospital.

The new complex will be built off Rosenberger, north of the Lloyd, on the site of a former car dealership. St. Mary’s will close its nearby Convenient Care facility.

Construction of the new complex is expected to take 12 months.
