A fundraising golf event is teeing-off in Warrick County.
Thousands of golf fans are expected to attend the United Leasing Championship at Victoria National.
The golf course’s general manager, Steve Munch, says in a news release that the tournament has raised more than $350,000 for local charities in its first three years.
Ticket sales for the tournament go to nearly 90 local charities, and Old National Bank provides matching funds.
Munch says the event has a multi-million dollar impact on the Evansville-Newburgh area with about 15,000 fans attending and national exposure via the Golf Channel.
The United Leasing Championship runs through Sunday. Victoria National says it will host the event through 2016.
