GAGE chooses Kinnett

The Growth Alliance for a Greater Evansville has chosen a new leader.

GAGE hired from within, naming its current business development director, Chris Kinnett, as its new president.

Kinnett has been with the economic development agency since 2013 and replaces Debbie Dewey, who left to take a job with Indiana American Water.

A news release from GAGE touts Kinnett’s “more than 25 years of experience in economic development.” He has worked at the Johnson County Development Corporation, the Knox County Development Corporation, and the Indiana Port Commission.

The agency says Kinnett’s experience, knowledge of local economic development, and proven success make him an “ideal candidate for the position.”

GAGE is a not-for-profit that works to support existing businesses and to attract new ones to Evansville and Vanderburgh County.
