A group of local church congregations will hear testimony Monday night on critical community issues.
Congregations Acting for Justice and Empowerment – or CAJE – will hold its annual Community Problems Assembly at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Mill Road. Residents who want to testify can sign-in starting at 6:00 p.m. The assembly starts at 6:30.
Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, law enforcement officials, and other community leaders will update last year’s two critical issues: access to dental care and suicide prevention.
The congregations will vote tonight on two new critical issues that will be researched before next April’s “Nehemiah Action.”
