The company that operates Evansville’s casino is growing in Mississippi.
Tropicana Entertainment expects to open its expanded gambling operation and resort in Greenville, Mississippi in October.
Trop Greenville is adding new table games and 300 more slot machines, including a high limit area.
The expansion includes a restaurant chain that can also be found at Evansville’s casino, Max & Erma's.
A 140-space underground parking garage will also open at the Mississippi facility.
Tropicana owns and operates eight casinos and resorts in the U.S., and one in Aruba. The company is based in Las Vegas.
The city of Evansville uses casino revenue for a number of city projects.
