A young woman is dead after a dune buggy crash in northern Vanderburgh County.
The Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Taylor Hess was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Robert Duffy on property along Baseline Road, east of Highway 41, when it crashed and overturned Monday night.
Hess was taken to Deaconess Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Duffy was also taken to Deaconess. He’s in fair condition.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the crash.
