A new street bazaar is being launched in Evansville this weekend.
Saturday is opening day for the first-ever Franklin Street Bazaar. More than 40 vendors will sell their wares in the park outside West Branch Library from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The vendors will offer a variety of food items, locally-grown farm products, flowers and plants, furniture, homemade soap, knife-sharpening, and more.
The band Calabash will also perform in the park.
The Franklin Street Events Association organized the bazaar, which will be held each Saturday through September 20th.
