Hospitals Seek Donations of Protective Gear. Coronavirus News, Wednesday March 25

Nationwide, supplies of personal protective equipment, including masks, N95 respirators and gowns,  are in short supply. Hospitals are soliciting donations and some people are crafting supplies themselves. Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that as a last resort masks should be reused or providers could use scarves.

  • There are over 1,500 cases of coronavirus, and the state is currently under a stay-at-home order. 
  • There have been 16 deaths from the virus.

  • There are over 550 confirmed cases of the virus and eight deaths. 
  • Lawmakers return to the Statehouse to pick a new date for the Ohio primary, set a later state tax filing day and scrap mandatory school testing for this academic year.
