It's an upgrade for cell phone users in Dubois County. AT&T says it has turned on its 4GLTE network in Jasper and Huntingburg.
A news release from the company says its customers in the Dubois County towns can now enjoy “the latest generation of wireless network technology.”
Bill Soards, the president of AT&T Indiana, says the company continues to see skyrocketing demand for mobile internet, and the 4G technology provides faster and more reliable service.
The launch in Jasper and Huntingburg is part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP.
