The Renaissance Era is not over for Evansville. A group of volunteers is bringing the well-known TEDx event to town with hopes of innovating and rediscovering the city. WNIN spoke to Zac Parsons, one of the organizers. He defines what renaissance means to this city and the impact this could have in the community.
You can nominate a speaker at www.TEDxEvansville.com , the deadline is June 1st. This event will take place at the Evansville Museum’s Koch Immerse Theater, October 13th. The event will be followed by a gathering in the upstairs gallery of the museum featuring music and food.
TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design. With its slogan “Ideas worth spreading”. TED is an international platform for speakers to share impactful ideas to inspire change in communities.
