The city of Evansville has launched a new app. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The mobile app is called Evansville Works 4U.
That’s the number 4 and the letter U.
The city says it offers residents a convenient way to report non-emergency concerns and stay informed about the status of their requests.
The app allows residents to submit service requests directly from their mobile devices, track progress, and receive updates from city departments.
The city says if a resident begins submitting a request for an issue that’s already been reported, the app can direct them to the existing request.
Mayor Stephanie Terry says residents know their neighborhoods, and they’re the often first to see things that need attention.
Terry says the app is another way the city can stay connected with the community.
The Evansville Works 4U app is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
Residents can also submit and track requests from a desktop computer through the City of Evansville website.
