One person is dead and another is injured after a traffic crash in Gibson County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The multi-vehicle crash happened at about 7:30 Monday night on Highway 41 at Gibson County Road 1250-South.
The sheriff’s office says a preliminary investigation showed a car traveling eastbound on the county road pulled into the path of a pickup truck on northbound 41.
Investigators say the truck “t-boned” the car sending the vehicle around another car traveling northbound across a ditch and into the Pilot Truck Stop parking lot where it hit a parked van.
One of the drivers was declared deceased at the scene and another was transported with non-life threatening injuries to an Evansville area hospital.
The Gibson County Coroner has not yet released the name of the deceased.
